Alumacraft 14ft Jon Boat with 18 horse Mercury and Trailer, package deal $1500.00 FIRM

This is a 2005 Alumacraft flat bottom Jon Boat, model 2005. It is 14 feet long 42 inches wide and is a 4 passenger capacity. This is the riveted model rated
for up to a 25 horse motor. We bought this boat of the lot brand new early summer 2006. We did mount a heavy duty black plastic storage box up front. Has two seats, the middle seat is mounted on a slideabe moveable mount. This boat is in GREAT shape, with no leaks or any major dings or dents, just normal use wear and tear. We are very careful boaters.

-The motor is a 1985 Mercury 18 XD tiller. It is an electric start and pulls start (which we don�t use). This motor starts every time and runs great. It has actually been tune and adjusted to run or match the horse power of a 25 horse motor. Believe you me this boat can get along little doggie with NO PROBLEMS!
There are some motor problems, let�s face it the motor is 23 years old and for the last 9 years ( that is how long we have had it, we bought it from a family member who got it new), this motor has been in the backwaters of the Mississippi and in the lower Chippewa river.
(1)- It has hit a few deadheads, and a couple rocks, and a few unknown objects. The prop is dinged up. It could use a refurbish or even a new one sometime in the next season or so. We have not noticed any performance or vibration problems from it, but we want to be totally honest here.
(2)-There is an oil seal leak in the lower unit. Before we put the boat in the water for the weekend, we change the oil before we launch. We run all weekend back and forth to here and there for this and that and have no problems. If we where to keep the boat one more season the motor would go in the shop for this repair.
(3)-The stop button doesn�t always seem to know its function. So we stopped using it. Now we just put the motor in neutral and pull out the choke. That works great for us, so we never fuss or mess with the stop button, could be an easy fix, might not even be broken, we just don�t use it.
(4)- Finally the cover clamp isn�t tight, so we have a bungee around the cover to hold the cover on. Again a minor fix, just something we lived with rather than fixed. Now face it if you�re a boater and know your stuff, you know these are MINOR simple problems.

-This boat comes with two marine batteries, one in back and the other mounted in front for the trolling motor that also comes with this package, as well as depth/fish finder. The trailer is a 1995 SPPR, with guides mounted on it. Everything is fully operations, and it has the life time licenses on it. Really this boat is ready to go, I just have to unload the camping gear from this weekend, and the lower unit oil change and away you can go, that is once you pay me $1500.00 in cash.
