grade, gelding, appa mix. not sure what he’s mixed with.
just turning 2 this may.
should mature around 14-15 hands. he’s not been sticked yet to know his exact height, but is small yet.
has a big personality and is a puppy dog once you gain his trust!
has had a saddle pad on, but not a saddle yet. he could care less about what you put on him.
pros -
leads, trots in hand, backs up, picks up his feet, lunges, ponies, will lead out alone, stands tied, loads right up.
cons -
can be iffy to catch, but if you’re slow he’s fine and he’s a bit watchy with people, but doesn’t care much about scenery. once he gains your trust and bond he’d be fine!
i think with time and more work he’d make an excellent trail partner!
only putting up for consideration as he’s not what we have in mind for our end goal.
