We need to re-home a great 1 year old intact male border collie. Jack is pure bred but not papered. He is very intelligent and usually takes no more than one or two times to learn something you want him to do--or one or two corrections to discourage something you don't want. Jack has a gentle soul and has never shown any sign of aggression toward us or anyone else. He wants to please his people, and I think he would be amazing at agility training. He stays close to the house unless he is in the field with one of his people. He is just a wonderful dog, and we want to find him a home that appreciates him and understands the needs of border collies.
We need to give him up due to family member health issues, not through any fault of his. He really needs to be a country dog with space so he can use up his energy. We will really miss him but have no choice at this point. A re-homing fee applies.
