currently does not run.... i get 600+ miles per tank when it does run properly.
mechanics hook up a computer, says it needs glow plugs and or harness. Been replaced at least 4 times and still has same issue.
last mechanic, said it needed injectors. Replaced with new, not the problem. They unplugged temp sensor, car started fine. ran for 250 miles and died. Replaced fuel pump, still dead. Doesn't sound like fuel pump gets power when i turn the key.
glow plug relay replaced
serpentine belt new
plugs and harness new
fuel pump (guessing around 1000 miles)
transmission rebuilt and dyno-tested has about 70k miles at the most.
if i remember shocks and struts recently replaced
fenders, hood, headlights, have all been replaced. Had minor damage (right side) from hitting small bear up north :( Been slowly trying to restore, as i wanted to have inspected to have title "clean" vs "salvage"
catalytic converter stolen, Replaced cat.
tires, alignment all good.
i'll add more details as i think of them, along with pictures. Car has been sitting in the garage for a year, and is getting covered with dust. I just ran out of money. Hate to see the car junked out, cause i know it still has some life left in it.
honestly would like 2500 but maybe we can work something out. Maybe just a good mechanic just willing to help get it running.
now that i think about it, i think the right headlight had shorted out. Replaced the bulbs, and noticed a burn mark. With the new bulbs, i think the high beams didn't work??? Living n chaos, can't remember or keep up with everything. D'oh!!
